Children in this phase are full of energy and need careful support. They walk, they talk, and they begin to develop relationships with each other.

Pre-nursery learn through sensory experiences that enhance their cognitive, language, motor and social skills. They turn ideas into words and words into phrases - to support this, we encourage looking at picture books and listening to stories. At this stage they are guided to better express themselves, and practice sharing. They are also learning about boundaries and how to handle frustration and cooperate through group play. Children at this stage start to develop friendships and gain confidence as they use their words and thoughts to interact with others.

The Environment

When your child joins us at Little Pandas Early Learning Centre they will have the opportunity to thrive in an environment that encourages their creativity, confidence, determination and love of exploring.

To ensure that your child has the opportunity to investigate their surroundings and make sense of the world around them with ease and comfort you will notice that our rooms have tables and chairs that let their feet touch the floor, labelled see through containers that enable them to choose, play with and put away their favourite toys. Natural resources that encourage inquisitiveness and stimulation, peaceful corners as they enjoy listening to a story and well equipped rooms that enable your child to develop their mind and personalities to the highest possible peaks.

The extensive out-door area allows your child further learning experiences. The garden is a humdrum of activity where climbing, cycling, pushing, pulling throwing and catching form just some of the skills that your child will learn to develop and master with confidence as they progress through their years with us at Little Pandas. Your child will learn to plant and look after different seasonal flowers and vegetables – in turn watching their efforts grow, giving them an immense sense of achievement.
